Just as parents of school-aged children are finding it more and more of a challenge to entertain their children while school is closed and everyone is shut inside, cat parents have that same challenge! But with indoor-only cats, it's a requirement 365 days a year. What makes Covid-times different? We humans are home all day, too, and so instead of taking their usual catnaps, cats are stimulated by our presence and want to be with and interact with us ... a lovely concept, but not practical when we are teleworking and also trying to home school our kids.
How about putting on video made just for cats? Here is one of many delightful options that we found by doing an Internet search for "Videos for Cats" ... make sure to turn up the volume for soothing sounds for the humans in the home as well. :o) Bonus: this can be a fun project for you and your children to research together!
